Welcome to the Catskills!

The town of Roxbury is right in the heart of the Catskills, a beautiful region in upstate New York that has hills and mountains and waterfalls and, in the fall, plenty of apple-picking. It's a popular weekend getaway for New Yorkers, which means that although there aren't very many hotels in the area there are tons of rental homes. We recommend that guests who know each other get together and rent a place on HomeAway or Airbnb.

Note: These are a significant drive from the Roxbury Barn. We haven't reserved a bloc of rooms because only handful of guests (OK, just Claire's mom) have expressed a desire to stay in a traditional hotel. If you do think you'd like a regular hotel room, please let us know. If we get enough interest we'll reserve some.

Scudder Hill House (Roxbury) Very close to wedding venue; the inn has only 5 rooms but there's also a three-bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 10 people.
